Angkor Wat 2 Day Extension

Phnom Penh + Angkor Wat 5 days

Mekong Delta + Cambodia 10 Days Saigon to Angkor Wat
Saigon-Cu Chi-Mekong Delta - Phnom Penh-Siem Reap -Angkor Wat
This tour takes us on a voyage through time, from present-day Saigon to the ancient civilization of the Khmer people and the temple complex at Angkor. In the Mekong we wind our way through the labyrinth of waterways and stay with a local family, encountering a unique way of life. From Saigon we cross over into Cambodia where we come face to face with the awe-inspiring creation of Angkor. This amazing architectural achievement has a timeless quality and we have three full days to explore the many wonders it contains. For most, this is a unique and unforgettable experience.

Beyond Angkor:As the world has discovered the splendour of the ancient Khmer temple complexes, visitors have flocked to Angkor. Beyond Angkor, however, offers a wealth of opportunities for exploration. Discover the many sides of Cambodia through Original World's Spirit of Asia Travel division. Following are three innovative new itineraries.

The Rattanakiri Experience 8 days
This tour extension explores northeastern Cambodia, an area rich in diverse sub-cultures. Visit the Laovillages with their traditional way of life and discover the Jarai villages, with their animistic traditions and unique wooden totems.Ê In between trips to villages and lively local markets, visitors may refresh themselves with a swim by local waterfalls or in the nearby crater lake.

Arts and Crafts Tour
This tour explores the resurgence in Cambodia's rich arts and crafts heritage. In Phnom Penh, visitors observe novice dancers being trained in the rigorous discipline of Apsara dancing at the school of Fine Arts, followed by a visit to the private workshops of the Prayuvong Buddha Factories, which devote themselves to restoring Buddha images destroyed by the Khmer Rouge. The following day includes an excursion to Koh Dach, an island famous for silk production. From Phnom Penh, visitors continue to Siem Reap, where they will tour a silk farm and basket-weaving village. The last day is spent among the famous Angkor Temples.

Cambodian Sampling
A wide range of destinations, this tour begins at the temples of Angkor before proceeding to Phnom Penh. From Phnom Penh, the tour journeys through typical Cambodian countryside to reach the colonial-era hill station of Phnom Bokor, situated on the second-highest mountain in Cambodia. The tour comes to a leisurely close at the beachside resort of Kampong Som, where visitors may relax on the beach or opt for a round of golf at the upcoming beachfront golf course.
