PANCHASE TREK (6 DAYS) The Panchase Trek, in one of the non-tourist areas, offers Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountain views, ethnic villages, culture and lifestyles of the Nepali people; especially from the western part of Nepal. The trek is always done with a guide and tented camps. Day 1 Kathmandu to Pokhara ( 200 kms ): Drive to Pokhara from Kathmandu and camp at Lakeside. Day 2 Pokhara to Bhumdi (1652 m.): Drive to Thadokhola via David Fall and trek towards Bhumdi. Mt. Annapurna I, II, III, and IV, Manaslu, Langtang, Ganesh Himal and Fish Tail can be seen from here; overnight at Bhumdi. Day 3 Bhumdi to Bhanjyang (2132 m.): Ascend towards Bhanjyang enjoying the spectacular views of Pokhara Valley and Phewa Lake. Overnight at Bhanjyang. Day 4 Bhanjyang to Naudanda (1445 m.): Ascend towards Panchase Ridge (2432 m.) (the highest point of this trekking), Pokhara valley, Kusma valley, Modi River, entire Annapurna Range, Mt. Dhaulagiri and other mountains can be closely observed. Then walk towards Naudada via Bhadure for the overnight stay. Day 5 Naudanda to Pokhara (901 m.): Trek to Sarangkot, descend in about 2hrs. and drive to Pokhara and relax in Pokhara the rest of the day. Day 6 Pokhara to Kathmandu: Fly back to Kathmandu from Pokhara.
