Highlights 10 Days

Day 1: Arrival in Ho Chi Minh City
Arrival at Tan Son Nhat Airport. Pick-up and transfer to hotel. City tour: War Remnants Museum, Binh Tay Market in Chinatown, Thien Hau Temple and lacquer workshop. O/N in HCMC.

Day 2: HCMC - Tay Ninh - Cu Chi Ð HCMC (D)
Full day excursion to Tay Ninh, visit to Cao Dai Holy See. Then visit to Cu Chi Tunnels. Evening: cultural show and dinner on Saigon Boat. O/N in HCMC.

Day 3: HCMC - My Tho Ð HCMC (L)
Full day excursion to My Tho: cruise on Mekong River, visit to local homes and orchards, sampan ride on palm-shaded creeks, taste of seasonal fruit. Lunch of Mekong specialties. O/N in HCMC.

Day 4: HCMC Ð Hue (D)
Transfer to airport. Flight to Hue. Pick-up and transfer to hotel. Drive to Khai Dinh Tomb. Boat ride on Perfume River to Minh Mang Tomb and Thien Mu Pagoda, enjoying rural landscape at sunset. Evening: traditional show and royal dinner. O/N in Hue.

Day 5: Hue - Danang
Morning: visit to Imperial Citadel and Dong Ba Market. Afternoon: transfer to Danang, stop-over on Hai Van Pass overlooking Lang Co lagoon. Visit to Cham Sculpture Museum. O/N in Danang.

Day 6: Danang Ð My Son Ð Hoi An Ð Danang
Morning: transfer to My Son, visit to Cham Holy See. Afternoon: visit to Hoi An ancient town: temples, workshops and old houses. Stop-over at Non Nuoc stone-carving village. O/N in Danang.

Day 7: Danang Ð Hanoi
Morning: flight to Hanoi. Pick-up and transfer to hotel. Afternoon: visit to Temple of Literature, Ethnology Museum, old quarters and downtown pedicab ride (1 hour). Evening: water puppet show. O/N in Hanoi. Day 8: Hanoi Ð Halong Ð Hanoi Full day excursion to Halong. Cruise in Halong Bay (5 hours), visit to limestone caves, off-shore islets and seabathing. Return to Hanoi. O/N in Hanoi.

Day 9: Hanoi - Ninh Binh - Hanoi
Morning: transfer to Ninh Binh, visit to Dinh & Le dynasty temples. Afternoon: sampan ride to Tam Coc and visit to Bich Dong Pagoda. Transfer to Hanoi. O/N in Hanoi.

Day 10: Departure from Hanoi
Downtown shopping (ceramics, silver-carvings, silk...) or at leisure before check-out. Transfer to airport for departure.
